Alexander Square (TV)Berlin (1980)
The magnificent project of the famous German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder created in collaboration with the Italian company Bavaria TV from summer 1979 to spring of the 1980th While shooting a record 154 days in total 930 minutes was created, edited and then divided into 13 parts and epilogue for TV, although he originally wanted him Fassbinder whole state!

Alfred Döblin (1878-1957) published his novel in 1927. Immediately lived to see his work for world recognition. Finally, it also created a radio play and participated in the screenplay for the film about the fate of Franz and his friends, especially the second which describes part of the book. Written in 1931, made Phelan Jutzi.
Fassbinder then used for processing the whole substance of his novel by Franz release from prison to his sad end odosobněnému. Rainer Werner Fassbinder (1945-1982) was one of the most distinctive filmmakers seventies. He was one of the rising generation of German filmmakers like Wim Wenders eg, Werner Herzog and Volker Schlöndorf. Their films reflect the loss of illusions of post-war development and a sense of moral decay and the associated loss of identity of the individual who runs this machine. Fassbinder to all his short life was in itself a tragic fate and destiny of all its tragic anti-heroes. He died prematurely in 1980 after ingestion of large doses of barbiturates. He was exactly 37 years and ten days.

Lacenaire (1990)
