Film Sweat and Tears of the Prague Spring is the second sequel trilogy every year in Prague Spring, which breaks down the stereotypes of the world presenting the so-called classical music in the media. Our project is trying to break the culture of the ghetto some imaginary stupor, dullness, excessive formality, which form a barrier between this branch and the wider community. Noble and exceptional mix of common and civil. We see the musicians as a human being possessed by a desire for excellence of performance, but at the same time as normal people with their worries, stresses and fears. The world of classical music is serious and ridiculous at the same time, like everything associated with man.

The project filmed during several years of preparation and during the Prague Spring Festival. Each operates independently of the films, but also will create a meaningful comprehensive triptych.
 
    
Nefilmujeme only at the festival, but long before him, during the preparations. The project deliberately avoids oficialitám festival, press conferences and other events "social events". The crew seemed světloplaše remains largely behind the scenes. However, it is patient, unobtrusive and dedicated to stories that take place in front of him. So a combination of shooting situations using observational and informal discussions achieves very colorful, exciting, authentic and deep view topic.

We do not just the stars, musicians and show at the very beginning of their careers, we just do not care about the efforts to implement the best musical compositions, but also more mundane festival site. The festival is a kind of celebration, concentration, quality, and also an opportunity to offer unusual and borderline.
 
    
Opus No. 2

The film consists of four lines – "stories":
Second opus dramaturgical concept is based on the tension between the story of young aspiring musicians and stories in which the main characters of world-renowned masters. The third triangle is an examination of the classical music field somewhere on the border of clarity and perceptibility to the "trained" listener.

Conductor – last concert? Sir Mackerras Charlers prepared with the Czech Philharmonic Janacek's Taras Bulba. We follow him from the first test to the concert. Conductor struggling with time, with another idea on the composition of the orchestra. It addresses various issues ranging from the overall expression to small sonic details, all with the noble English lord. Because it's a concert in honor of Vaclav Talich, we become witnesses to the shooting of Sir Charles interview teachers. Conductor snaps somewhat circus atmosphere television crew and remembers very intimately.

On the border of music – quarter-tone piano. The festivals are exclusive, and sometimes a bit strange experiments. We follow the transport of the piano and build two wings in one instrument, we learn what it's rarity and what are the problems with it. Vojtech Spurny tested and talks about the weirdness of the invention Alois Haba – quarter-tone music – as well as pitfalls of playing the piano for this special, one of the world. Although the claim that this music is almost neposlouchatelná, the audience and the concert will come last.
 
Competition – the beginning of the journey. We have chosen an international competition to play the trombone, and we watched about ten selected young musicians. Is particularly dramatic first round – after half a year, decides exercise twenty minutes. Advanced to the third round of the nearly fifty-four. We shot primarily in the locker room and foyer before and after their performances, but also in the tests, while waiting for results. Introducing it as a normal young people, but also as significant individuals: each has a different method of preparation, or responds to stress competition. We follow their mutual relations. We are with them in moments of concentration, nervousness, loss, success.

Soloist – at the top. Garrick Ohlsson is the star of first magnitude. We shot with him before the test, the test at the concert and afterwards. Talking about the relationship between artist talk on the endless road to perfection. The strongest moments of the material is a long closeup of OHLSSON face during the concert. With her boyish sprightliness surprising contrasts in reporting benefits.
