Ghosts of Abu Ghraib (2007)
American filmmaker Rory Kennedy boldly attempted to map the situation around the largest scandal in the U.S. Army recently. She started on a journey through history in the Iraqi prison Abu Ghraib, the causes and consequences of the horrific violence committed by U.S. troops on Muslim prisoners. She began to follow a series of lies and diplomatic machinations trying to disguise the act. The filmmaker not only gradually reveals the real story, but describes the network of laws and agreements that torture create a safe environment. It shows the highest power political forces, which stands for exploitation and abuse. Suggestive documentary about the appalling practices is composed of testimonies as prisoners and their torturers, public and private statements of politicians, from interviews with specialists from various fields and views of psychologists and sociologists. This creates a unique set of classified material on the affair, insight into the thoughts of victims and aggressors. It also completely undermines the idea of a democracy and shows that certain principles are entirely consistent with the most famous slogans of dictators.

Staging productions of the time taken up with the opera ensemble of the National Theatre in Brno, Oliver Dohnányi conductor and director Tomas Šimerda, starring Gabriel hosted Beňačková role in Roman Gregor Sadnik.
